A few MORE pictures of the the Galveston Island Historic Pleasure Pier

I was taking sunset pictures at the Pleasure Pier a few months ago, but I was wondering how it would look from the other end.  As luck would have it, I was just in the neighborhood and with the sun already set, snapped a few more pictures of the other side.  The other pictures were taken in the middle of the summer but this time, the beach was not as crowded. I’m posting the pictures in the order taken to show how fast the light was dropping off.  It started at about 1/2 second and by the end it was 3 second exposures at ISO 100 and f/7.1 (Really I could have gone down to f/4 or even f/2.8 and still had enough Depth of field, but what evs). As always, click on each picture to go to the flickr page and view the full screen size

I like this picture because it’s just sharp. It was taken in mirror up mode and remote shutter release.

I was looking for converging lines here but I don’t think it worked.
